What file formats do you output?

We work in both 1080p and 4k resolutions. We primarily output the easily transportable MP4 files that utilise the H264 CODEC system, just like Blu-Ray media. ProRes and other formats can be output upon request.

Are the videos playable on both Apple and PC?

Yes.  MP4 files can be played on any machine with Quicktime or VLC.  In addition, most modern television can accept a MP4 file on USB.

Can I upload the videos to the Internet?

Yes.  We can generate high quality compressed files suitable for the Internet.  This is convenient if your file destination is Vimeo or Youtube.

Can I play the videos on my iPhone or iPad?

Yes.  MP4 files are suited to all Apple devices.

How do you distribute the video files?

We typically provide footage on a USB stick or external hard drive.

Do you edit the footage?

Yes.  We do the entire process from pre-production through to filming, and then post-production editing and colour grading.

Can you film to the Australian broadcast standard?

Yes.  One of our electronic news gathering cameras is of broadcast quality and specification, and utilises the industry standard three sensor system.

Do you shoot with Steadicam?

Yes.  We loathe unstable shaky footage and subsequently, are experienced with the use of such devices.
